Turn what you know into a project brief and a list of questions for the installer. Print it or download it, free, with no sign-up.

The interactive brief needs JavaScript. You can use the questions and printable preparation list below without it.

Use project details only. Do not enter a name, address, account number or other personal information here.

A useful starting checklist

  1. Confirm permission to use and modify the parking.
  2. Find the utility name on the electricity bill.
  3. List the vehicles, parked time and charging goals.
  4. Identify a preferred location and safe, accessible photos.
  5. Ask about site assessment, permits, utility approvals and program preapproval before purchase.

Leave unknown answers for the installer or utility. Never open electrical equipment or certify capacity yourself. Prepare questions for the installer and understand approval order.
