How guides are written

EV Ready USA researches and writes its guides with the help of AI tools, from named sources: manufacturer instructions, government agencies, utilities and published cost studies. Every guide lists its sources and the date each one was read. We name a professional reviewer only when one has actually reviewed the material.

What guides cover

Guides explain the choices and the questions to ask. They are not wiring instructions or advice for a specific property, which is the installer's job at the visit.

Dates

The date at the top of a guide is the last time its content changed. Each source shows the date we read it.
