What does EV Ready USA cost?
Nothing. The service is free for property owners. You pay the installer for the job, and only if you go ahead.
Who are the installers?
Licensed electrical contractors who install EV chargers. Before we send you anyone, we check that their license is active in your state for this kind of work.
Do I need to pick a charger first?
No. Tell us the car you drive and where it parks, and the installer will recommend a charger that suits both.
What if my electrical panel is full?
The installer checks it at the visit. If it is short on capacity, they will explain the options, such as a smaller circuit, a load management device or a panel upgrade, and quote each one.
Can I get other quotes too?
Yes. Compare as many as you like, and hire whoever suits you best.
Can I use a rebate?
Check your state page for the programs open where you live. Some need you to apply before the work starts, so look before you sign.
