Round 3a is open with 74 eligible clusters and $41.184 million allocated. Submit one site per application and no more than one application per cluster by November 2, 2026 at 4 p.m.

Who qualifies and how to apply

How much: Up to 80% of eligible costs; at least 20% applicant match
Who qualifies: Tribal, business, nonprofit, government, utility or teaming applicant not suspended/debarred; one site/application and one application per eligible cluster; no state-owned right-of-way.
When to apply: Fully executed agreement required before eligible expenses; MnDOT issues task Notices to Proceed; NEPA review precedes final design/construction.
