DNREC Level 2 Charging Equipment Rebates (May 2026 program)

Segment-specific Level 2 equipment and installation rebates require preapproval. Multifamily, public, fleet and workplace projects may qualify; single-family projects are excluded.

Who qualifies and how to apply

How much: Standard: 75% of equipment and installation costs. Multifamily future-proofing: 80%. Qualifying priority multifamily: 90% equipment, 85% installation and 90% future-proofing. Government/nonprofit: 90% equipment and 85% installation.
Who qualifies: New Delaware Level 2 equipment purchased/installed after May 1, 2026; multifamily sites with at least four units; public commercial, fleet and workplace sites. Higher percentages require the applicable guideline criteria.
When to apply: Approval letter required before eligible purchase or installation
Deadline: First come until funds are reserved; complete within one year of approval
